Third Party Monitoring

  2. Third party monitoring services monitored, and documenting lessons from the projects. Services to be provided include distribution monitoring, post-Distribution Monitoring (PDM), documenting lessons through focus group discussions, and the provision of completed monitoring forms and a monitoring report to partners. Services will be provided in coordination with partner’s service provider on the ground. Incentives prepared the monitoring tools in counseling. Deliverables will include the monitoring activities themselves – demonstrated by the submission of scans of the monitoring forms, and a final report consolidating the information gathered through the monitoring activities.

  3. Purpose
  4. The third part monitoring services will be responsible for carry out distribution monitoring and post distribution monitoring activities to ensure quality and accountability and document lessons through reports, photos, transcripts/ recordings, case studies, etc.

    • Orientation on/Review of monitoring forms
    • 10% of beneficiaries registration list verified
    1. Distribution monitoring
    2. a. distribution monitoring visits- distribution monitoring for targeted areas and activities

    3. PDM ( Post Distribution Monitoring)
    4. a. ( 10% of the total beneficiaries) post-distribution monitoring (PDM) visits to be conducted at the homes of beneficiaries (or at an agreed location or through agreed communication channels)

      FGD –Focus Group Discussions

      • FGD per area in partner targeted locations
      • one female and one women group per location in each case with minimum of eight participants, mixed from the community and includes elderly and disabilities
      • Transcript and if possible recordings (based on informed consent)
      • Photos to be provided of bladders and FGDs

    5. Conduct Case studies –one case study per targeted area
    6. Process of monitoring
      • monitors to participate in each PDM visit
      • Preferably one female and one male – vendor to specify if this is possible
      • All PDMs ( both household and group levels)
      • Monitors will be from the locations where distributions/post-distribution monitoring will take place
      • All monitoring visits must be completed by end the Activities
      • Submission of all monitoring forms to partner
      • Staff review forms for completion and correctness and submit to partners at the end of each calendar month
      • The team will prepare and submit to partner a report which provides a consolidated overview of the responses to each question asked in the PDMs and distribution monitoring checklists
      • --Format to be agreed with partner in advance

      • All scanned forms and final report will be submitted
